The vast majority of visitors to Lake George visit in the summer. The summer is certainly beautiful. But if you love the summer, consider visiting in the fall and winter. Accommodations, including this one, can be half the price. Our favorite season is the fall. Deep blue skies and deep blue water, and Adirondack foliage every bit as colorful as New England. Winters are cold, but not as harsh as past history. Skiing is nearby. If you decide to visit in the winter, you'll want to make sure you stay in a place with adequate snow removal service.
